NOTTINGHAM @ Young Hustlers ‘Magnificent Masquerade’ themed family rave
Family rave sensation Big Fish Little Fish are bringing their award winning, critically acclaimed, ultimate family party to the Nottingham Contemporary as part of the inaugral Young Hustlers festival, part of the brilliant Hockley Hustle festival!
A bit about Young Hustlers: After ten years of awesome music, packed out dancefloors, thousands of bands and smiley faces all round, Hockley Hustle Music Festival is proud to present the first instalment of Young Hustlers, a festival for Nottingham’s younger generations. Helping parents be responsibly irresponsible since 2013 BFLF raves are designed to be as much fun for the adults as they are the children – they are social, daft, anarchic and creative spaces for all the family to enjoy.
Come and join in the carnival spirit as Big Fish Little Fish throw a ‘Magnificent Masquerade’ family rave at Nottingham Contemporary on Sunday 8th October.
On the decks we have the truly brilliant DJ’s Baker & Beale mixing up a banging set of club classics old skool, house, techno, hip hop, electro, UK garage, drum’n’bass and anything else that take their fancy.
Multi-sensory dance floor with glitter cannons, bubbles, giant balloons and parachute dance finale.
Craft tables with giant mural, themed crafts and playdoh table.
Play area with tents and tunnels and baby chillout space with mats and soft-play ball pool.
Licensed bar, free transfers and glowsticks.
Optional fancy dress: It’s all about masks!
**PLEASE NOTE** To spread the rave love to as many people as possible we have 2 raves both 90 mins long and you’ll be contacted nearer the time to choose which you’d prefer. The timings are 1pm-2.30pm and 3pm-4.30pm.
Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
For families with younger children (8s and under) though all ages are welcome. Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email infoem@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets. Tickets are non-refundable. Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants free (but ticketed). Will cost more on the door (if tickets available).
Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 300 people at each party – which helps create the rave ambience. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance. Buggies must be left in buggy park and will not be allowed on the dance floor.
Your tickets give you access to all Young Hustlers activities on the day – AMAZING!

Bash some beats at Percussion Workshops with a worldwide focus, hosted by Mystic Beats.
Design your Carnival Costume, help create the Young Hustlers flag, and show off your creations as
a part of Hockley Hustle’s famous Samba Parade hosted by City Arts and Can Samba.
Write your songs with some of Nottingham’s best song writers.
Be amazed by interactive Science activities, incredible Circus Skills or Mystical Magicians Tricks.
Tell your stories, tell us about yourself, and share your words with young people from many
different backgrounds in the multi lingual environment of, The Language Café.
Write poems with Nottingham’s Young Poet Laureate, and help to design the Hockley Hustle Poem
installations, displayed throughout Hockley later on this year.
